Here's what we were working with before we got started - a worn-out, weathered wood fence that had clearly seen better days. Boards warping, the color long gone gray, and the whole thing just dragging down the look of an otherwise solid property. It's a situation a lot of homeowners put off longer than they should.

We pulled the old fence and replaced it with a clean cedar board privacy fence along multiple sides of the property. Cedar is one of our go-to materials for good reason. It's naturally resistant to moisture and rot, it looks sharp right out of the gate, and it holds up well over time without needing a ton of maintenance right away.

What we really focused on here was consistency - keeping the boards tight, the top line straight, and the height even as we worked around the property. When you're running a fence along a long stretch of yard, the little details add up fast. One sloppy section and the whole thing looks off. We don't cut corners on the stuff most people won't notice at first glance, because eventually they will.

The difference between the before and after on this one is hard to miss. A fresh cedar fence doesn't just clean up the look of a property - it adds real privacy, better security, and a clear sense of where your space begins and ends. That matters whether you've got kids, pets, neighbors close by, or just want your backyard to feel like your own.

Cedar fence installation is one of those investments that pays off immediately in how the property looks and feels. If your current fence is sagging, graying out, or just falling apart, it's probably time to stop patching it and start fresh.
